Kunskapsskolan Borlänge is hiring a Student Assistant

Kunskapsskolan in Sweden, which also includes Kunskapsgymnasiet, started its first schools in 2000 and now has 29 primary schools and six high schools with 1,350 employees and 14,400 students. Kunskapsskolan is owned by founder Peje Emilsson and family.

The Primary School:

At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pedagogy that is personally designed and based on each individual. Kunskapsskolan Borlänge is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has about 300 students. The school started in 2012 and is beautifully located by the Dalälven river in Mjälga, easily accessible by bus and bike. At our school, we have satisfied students who thrive and have high academic results.

We are looking for an engaged student assistant to support a student in grade 5 to help them develop and reach their goals. The position is a temporary position at 75%.

For each student to reach as far as possible, we need employees with a strong commitment to the student. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, so we are looking for someone who actively works to help the student succeed. As a student assistant, you will be responsible, together with the student's teacher and the student health team, for supporting and helping the student to achieve their goals and succeed in school.

At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pronounced teamwork. You are never alone with challenges and questions. The openness among employees is great, and we share a common responsibility for our students. You will have close collaboration with the student's personal supervisor, subject teachers, and the student health team at the school to ensure the student receives the necessary support. As a student assistant, you will also have a lot of contact with the student's guardians.

Qualifications

As a student assistant at Kunskapsskolan, you need to be good at collaborating. We therefore value that you are structured, engaged, and communicative, as well as being flexible and constructive in your collaborations.

Desirable Qualifications

• Assistant training
• Experience working with children with neuropsychiatric disabilities.

The position is a temporary position at 75%.
